About PPL Buddy
PPL Buddy helps you study for the UK CAA PPL(A) theory exams — and actually understand the material, not just memorise it.
Most exam-prep tools are question banks: they drill you on answers. PPL Buddy is built differently. It teaches each subject from first principles — a clear written study guide that explains why, with interactive visual aids to make the tricky ideas click — and then backs it with flashcards, practice questions, and full mock exams so you can test yourself when you're ready. It also includes genuinely useful flying tools: a live METAR/TAF weather decoder and flight-planning calculators you'll reach for during nav planning.
Air Law is completely free — the whole subject, no account needed — so you can see exactly how it teaches before you decide to subscribe for the rest.
What PPL Buddy is — and isn't. It's a study aid to help you learn and prepare. It is not an official CAA product, and it's not a substitute for authoritative references or your Approved Training Organisation.
